Last fall, yes, last fall, I met up with ann+travis on one of THE rainiest seattle days and I just love how the above portraits turned out.  I shot these at a time when I was really pushing myself to shoot engagements much more candidly, capturing the couple in a more natural way, more warm and much more relaxed then the typical lets-go-to-the-park/walk-down-the-middle-of-the-street interactions.  Plus, it was fun getting creative in beautiful Melrose Market on capital hill; with the afore mentioned goals in mind for shooting, the added game of needing to be indoors due to weather yet wanting lovely light {and dodging fellow marketeers} was really an added bonus I think.
